Battery

The battery members march around with drums ranging anywhere from 15 to 25 pounds while being the heartbeat of the members on the field. They have rehearsals two times a week with a mix of combined and individual rehearsals. During fall they are a part of the Rowland Raider Regiment on the field and during the winter, they do competitions with the front ensemble against other world class scholastic groups.

Front Ensemble

The front ensemble play a variety of instruments at the front of the group. They act as the heart by pumping the beat to the battery. They compete as a part of the Regiment in the fall, then in the winter, they compete alongside the battery as well as their own individual front ensemble competitions. This means that they learn multiple shows at the same time. This amount of material is the reason they rehearse three times a week.
